Job Description Management Accountant Location: Stoke-on-Trent Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Dependant on Experience I am currently working for an Accountancy Practice powerhouse that is looking to add to their internal Accounts team in the form of a Management Accountant.
As a Management Accountant, you will be an integral part of the experienced Finance team, partnering with senior management to drive success and innovation. This role is perfect for ambitious individuals looking to challenge themselves in a forward-thinking and fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of
the role
Prepare monthly management accounts for companies within the Great Things Together Group. Handle daily bookkeeping duties alongside the team. Manage month-end procedures including client WIP adjustments and department reporting.
Prepare and submit VAT returns. Collate management packs for board presentations. Assist with year-end and statutory accounts for group companies, including cash flow forecasting and budgeting. Prepare weekly reports on staff analysis, chargeability, and performance.
Coach, develop, and train junior members of the team, enhancing their skills and contributing to team growth. Required Skills &
Qualifications
Nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with industry or practice experience. Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role. Tech-savvy, with knowledge of CCH (desirable). Ability to thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment. Excellent communication skills, with a passion for building relationships.
