Job Description Sharp Consultancy are exclusively working with an established service-sector business in Doncaster to recruit a Management Accountant to join their established finance team. The business is continuing to grow, and with that comes the opportunity for someone to take real ownership of their role, make an impact and progress their career. As Management Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager as part of a small, supportive team.
You’ll have autonomy and responsibility, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and take on more as the business continues to evolve. This role would be particularly well suited to an Assistant Management Accountant ready to take that next step, looking for greater ownership, progression and the chance to build a long-term career within a successful and growing business.

responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow with variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast and prior year Supporting the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments Assist on cash management processes including forecasting cycles and budgeting Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen financial controls Producing regular KPI reports and management information to support senior stakeholders Assess performance and efficiencies across the company Ensure company compliance with tax obligations and deadlines Support audit process with external auditors Acting as a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders
