Management Accountant - Up To £40,000 A Year

Management AccountantWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Shropshire. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position will take responsibility for monthly financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and involvement in a range of ad hoc finance projects across the business.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)Working Hours: Monday to Friday | Office-basedKey

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed profit and loss reporting
• Assisting with the production of annual statutory accounts for review
• Providing financial support across the business, including working closely with commercial teams to identify cost efficiencies
• Supervising and supporting two members of the finance teamCandidate

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role
• Ideally part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / AAT)
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational and communication skills
