Job Description Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer Advanced CNC | 3, 4 & 5-Axis | Aerospace | Romford, Essex Complex components. Advanced machining. Real engineering ownership. A well-invested aerospace precision engineering business is growing its engineering team and is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to take ownership of programming, process development and manufacturing optimisation.

This is far more than a programming role. You’ll have genuine influence over how complex aerospace components are manufactured, developing processes, tooling, fixtures and setup strategies to deliver first-time-right production.

The Role Create, optimise and prove 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC programmes Develop manufacturing processes, routings and setup strategies Design and implement work-holding and fixture solutions Select tooling and optimise machining processes Drive first-time-right production and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies Support the introduction of new aerospace components into manufacture Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities What You’ll Bring Proven CNC programming experience within precision engineering Strong understanding of 3, 4 and 5-axis machining Experience developing manufacturing methods and setup strategies Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desirable Hypermill experience would be advantageous Why This Role?
