This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming manufacturing operations, bridging the gap between design and production, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality and productivity.

They are thriving company and they are keen to add to their production team. The RoleAs Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing, developing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring products move efficiently from design through to production.

Working closely with both engineering and production teams, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimise workflows and support the successful introduction of new products. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and map design-to-manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and cost performance.

Develop, test and implement improved manufacturing methods, systems and workflows. Act as the key technical link between the design office and manufacturing teams, resolving production challenges and improving processes.

Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support material flow optimisation through PFEP principles. Lead engineering and operational improvement projects to increase productivity and scalability. Support new product introduction, ensuring designs are manufacturable and production-ready.

Conduct Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews and assist with production launch activities. Provide technical support to production teams, driving efficiency, quality and safety improvements. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, specifications and process standards. Design and develop jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing performance and repeatability. What You'll NeedDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years' experience within a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or similar engineering role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial engineering and material management. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a track record of driving improvements.

Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks. Experience using ERP/MRP systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
