Manufacturing Manager

Jelly Technical are looking to speak with experienced, strategic Manufacturing Manager to join a leading food manufacturer at its facility in Lichfield. This role will be leading production teams to maintain strict standards of product safety, quality and legality across the site operation and supply chain.

Working collaboratively with senior management, you will drive KPI delivery and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of developing inclusive, dynamic working environments.

You will be responsible for translating long-term strategic goals into daily departmental success while empowering your teams to grow. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional to advance their career with a prominent industry leader.

Key responsibilities of this Manufacturing Manager role: Manage and oversee the production team - working with supply chain, planning and technical to ensure resources are available in line with productivity targets. Set performance targets to drive optimal efficiency - daily and weekly and set performance improvement plans if necessary.

Oversee production team to ensure quality and food safety standards are being met, line line with quality manual and HACCP. Ensure GMP standards are being adhered to. Monitoring production costs to ensure manufacturing falls within budget.

Promote a safe working environment, addressing any safety concerns where necessary Carry out direct report appraisals to both evaluate performance and create personal development plans. Qualifications and Experience needed for this Manufacturing Manager role: Established Manufacturing Manager in food manufacturing.

Qualified in food safety and HACCP. Hold health & safety certification such as IOSH / NEBOSH Continuous improvement driven. Project control experience. Highly visible & approachable leadership style.
