Job Description Meridian business support is recruiting for a Materials Handler / FLT driverfor a Company based in Stone Cross Business Park,Golborne area. Main purpose of the role- To ensure the control and flow of raw materials to the production department is optimized.
Works closely with other team members to mitigate any material impacts on the production plan. Duties include: To ensure the control of raw material is optimized for the departmentSupport line technician with material changesLoading and unloading of materials for the department (use of FLT)Ensure all areas within the job scope are maintained to high level of housekeepingTo ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good H&S practiceWorks with other departments to ensure the material flow is in accordance with the production planGeneral cleaning duties brushing a hoovering around theproduction areaExperience Required: Previously held a position within a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment ideally supporting movement of products and/or materialsExcellent team player and can communicate effectivelyKnowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures within a busy manufacturing environmentPreferable: Hold valid FLT license / Counterbalance (training provided if needed)Hours & Shifts:2 x day shift 6AM - 6PM / 2 x night shift 6PM - 6AM then 4 x days OFFPay Rate:£ 13.49 per hour after 42 hours £ 20.24 per hourImmediate start available / Weekly payMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Business for this vacancy.
