Materials Handler

STEM Recruitment are recruiting for a Materials Handler for our client based in Glasgow. Temporary 9 months contract Dayshift, Mon – Fri

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring materials received are in good condition, fit for use and are logged into computer system. As our Material Handler, you will work closely with Quality Control, Purchasing & end users to make materials available and help resolve any issues relating to raw materials.

You will be supported by your Materials Supervisor to meet internal customer needs on a high throughput site. You’ll own practical tasks like identifying slow-moving stock, tackling waste by preventing expiry, and running smart stock counts that keep our supply chain agile.
