Our client is looking for a Maths ECT to work within a highly regarded mixed secondary school based in Birmingham . This is a permanent position starting January 2026 . Maths ECT required to work full-time Outstanding school in Birmingham Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-resourced Maths department Our client seeks a talented and passionate Maths ECT to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

The successful candidate will join a department recognised for its commitment to excellence, collaborative ethos, and strong student outcomes. This is an ideal setting for an ECT to develop their career with outstanding mentoring and CPD support.

Experience and Qualifications Maths ECT with the ability to teach across KS3–KS5 Strong classroom management and enthusiasm for Mathematics PGCE with QTS (or equivalent) Passion for teaching and commitment to continuous improvement Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Outstanding mixed secondary school in Birmingham educates around 1,600 students and is celebrated for its academic success and inclusive ethos.

The Mathematics Department achieves excellent results, with 83% of students gaining grades 9–4 at GCSE and high A-Level outcomes. The school was rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted and is known for its strong leadership and exceptional facilities, including STEM laboratories and digital learning suites.
