Our client, a well-established further education college, is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to join its teaching team. The Role As a Maths Lecturer,

your responsibilities will include

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality mathematics lessons. Teaching learners across a range of abilities and educational backgrounds. Supporting students in developing their mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills.

Preparing learners for GCSE Maths and relevant qualifications. Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress. Providing additional support to learners who may need help achieving their targets. Creating an inclusive, positive and stimulating learning environment.

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities. The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for someone who: Holds a relevant degree or qualification in Mathematics or a related subject. as a recognised teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one.

Has experience teaching Maths within a further education setting (desirable). Has strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills.
