Mechanical Associate Director: Data Centres

Overview

In this role you lead mechanical delivery for hyperscale and co-location data centres, shaping projects across the EMEA region and globally. You act as a technical leader and ambassador, strengthening client relationships and driving growth through work winning and thought leadership. You will oversee multi‑disciplinary DC project streams, apply advanced MEP design practices, and manage project financials. Responsibilities

• Drive technical delivery excellence for hyperscale and co-location data centre projects and strengthen client relationships
• Lead data centre project streams in the UK and across EMEA
• Apply deep knowledge of mechanical design and interfaces with clients
• Support growth through work winning and thought leadership
• Manage project financials and ensure successful project outcomes
• Act as ambassador for data centre community internally and externally

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with CIBSE or equivalent
• Strong background delivering mechanical projects in data centres and mission critical environments
• Demonstrated client-facing and work-winning experience
• Excellent team leadership and development capability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound financial understanding of projects
