Mechanical Construction Manager - Data Centre | Italy £700 per day | Contract | Immediate Start As part of the continued growth of our data centre programme in Italy, we are urgently looking to strengthen our site delivery team with an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mechanical construction professional with strong experience across HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, fuel systems and mechanical commissioning. The Role Manage mechanical construction activities on site from installation through to completion.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Oversee mechanical installations including HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and fuel systems. Monitor project quality, safety and schedule throughout the construction phase.

Carry out inspections and ensure all works meet the required quality standards. Verify installations against approved drawings, specifications and relevant industry standards. Identify installation issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Support mechanical commissioning and ensure systems are ready for successful handover. Requirements Strong mechanical construction background. Extensive experience across HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and fuel systems. Experience with mechanical commissioning.

Proven experience managing site activities and subcontractors. Strong knowledge of construction quality, inspections and QA. Ability to review and verify installations against drawings, specifications and industry standards.

Strong understanding of health & safety and construction compliance. Fluent English is essential. Must be based in Italy and available to work on site 5 days per week.
