The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of key project responsibilities, applying your technical knowledge to deliver high-quality building services design solutions from concept through to completion.

You will have the opportunity to influence project outcomes, develop client relationships, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the delivery of sustainable, energy-efficient buildings. What You'll Be Doing Delivering innovative building services design solutions across a variety of projects.

Designing HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and mechanical systems. Producing engineering calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation. Coordinating designs with architects, structural engineers and wider project teams.

Supporting projects through all design stages, from feasibility to construction. Applying sustainable design principles and low-carbon engineering solutions. Ensuring compliance with relevant UK regulations, standards and industry best practice.

Contributing technical expertise to complex and challenging engineering projects. What You'll Need Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the building services sector. Strong knowledge of building services design and mechanical engineering principles.

Experience delivering mechanical designs for complex building projects. Proficiency in relevant design and calculation software. Understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
