Join a growing engineering team where you'll play a key role in transforming ideas into high-quality, manufactured solutions used by customers worldwide. A specialist engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced engineer to develop 3D models, detailed drawings and mechanical designs for complex industrial equipment.
What you'll be doing Designing enclosures, frames, ducting and fabricated assemblies Producing 3D models and manufacturing drawings Working with sheet metal, weldments and fabricated components Supporting prototypes, testing and production Improving designs for performance, cost and manufacturabilityWhat you'll need Mechanical design experience within an industrial environment Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally SolidWorks Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication and weldments A degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering An understanding of airflow, cooling or enclosure design would be advantageousA great opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team and see your designs progress from concept through to manufacture.
