Mechanical Engineer

Visit clients' sites to perform high-level consultancy support and technical services, including: Structural vibration assessment and problem solving Process piping vibration assessment and problem solving (in accordance with Energy Institute guidelines) Design and implementation of the company's pipework vibration solutions Asset integrity monitoring systems Liaising with customers to determine project requirements.

Preparation of technical / commercial proposals for work. Job preparation, including: establishing key deliverables and preparing job documentation including Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Job Specification. Planning work, identifying support where required, procuring and setting up equipment, and arranging travel/accommodation for site work.

Further assessment work using CAD, FEA or other specialist software to investigate further and develop practical solutions. Specification, design, configuration and implementation of structural monitoring systems. Project management and supporting colleagues' projects as required.
