You'll keep presses, furnaces and hydraulics running. Then you'll make sure the same breakdowns don't come back. The role Own safety, uptime and reliability across your area of plant Drive PPM and root-cause recurring breakdowns Lead CI on availability, energy and cost (FMEA, 5S, Lean Six Sigma) Control engineering spend, spares and contractors Write RAMS, lead investigations and coach the maintenance team You'll need A Level 3 NVQ or HNC in Mechanical Engineering 5 years in a plant or maintenance engineering role in heavy manufacturing Strong hydraulics knowledge (forging presses and furnaces are a big plus) Experience leading change in a unionised environment A can-do attitude and a real sense of urgency Why apply?
