Mechanical estimator

Overview

You will join a growing estimating team delivering accurate, competitive M&E estimates for high-value projects. In this role you work closely with commercial, construction, and project teams to ensure timely, profitable bids. The position provides a path to Senior Estimator through delivering quality estimates and developing your technical and commercial skills. This opportunity suits an ambitious estimator looking to advance within a collaborative, international engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for Mechanical & Electrical works
• Perform take-offs, price tenders, and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotes
• Assess commercial risks, margins, and profitability
• Collaborate with commercial, construction, and project teams to deliver on time

Key requirements

• M&E estimating experience and knowledge of systems, installation methods, materials, and specifications
• Ability to prepare take-offs, price tenders, and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes
• Understanding of costs, commercial risks, margins, and profitability
• Strong communication and organization skills to deliver accurate estimates on time
• Relevant engineering, building services, or quantity surveying qualification, or equivalent experience
