What will you do? Make an impact! The role holder will perform the day-to-day maintenance tasks associated with the operation of the site, whilst maintaining the highest level of compliance to the company's health and safety, environmental, procedural and statutory goals.
Principal Duties Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic plant and equipment on Heysham site (as far as skills allow). Ensure that all equipment/plant worked on is maintained to a safe condition, compliant with any specific regulations and/or restrictions.
To ensure that engineering skills are available to production areas for supporting 'non-skilled' personnel in engineering matters where appropriate. To assist as required in mechanical or other engineering tasks as the workload demands.
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations and conditions are adhered to. Completion of necessary work permits and associated systems to allow safe maintenance
