Job Description Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in York. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing Location: York Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. (plus 1 in 8 on call) Salary: £40,000 - £43,000

Key Responsibilities
Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts.
Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification solutions. Mechanical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipment. Carry out all work safely, in accordance with site safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance as a minimum Proven experience in an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments (FMCG preferable) Experience in fabrication and welding Suited candidates previously hold roles such as: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Mechanic, Robotics Engineer Apply now or to discuss this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, please contact Eleanor Crummey.
