Youll be part of a highly skilled maintenance team, keeping critical equipment running smoothly and ensuring the site hits its performance targets every single day. Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality mechanical maintenance across production equipment to consistently meet factory performance targetsCarry out mechanical setup, changeovers, and production supportDiagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns quickly and effectivelyPerform planned preventive maintenance to minimise downtimeSupport with fabrication, machining, and installation of plant and machineryRespond to first-line issues across boilers, chillers, air compressors, and wider site utilitiesWork safely at all times, following site standards and contributing to a strong safety cultureUse stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems accuratelyContribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the siteProvide occasional support to electrical tasks when required (within competency)Skills and ExperienceRecognised mechanical apprenticeship (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)Strong experience working on production and process equipment in a factory environmentSolid mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skillsMachining and/or welding skillsExperience with boilers, chillers, compressors, and utility systemsGood understanding of planned and reactive maintenance in a fast-moving environmentComputer literacy for stores systems and Maintenance Management SystemsWater treatment and boiler testing experience (desirable)Electrical competency beneficial but not essentialPay and BenefitsSalary: £44,000 per annum, plus overtimeOutstanding pension scheme you contribute 4%, the company contributes 10%Annual tool allowance (£263)5 hours per week: MondayFriday, 08:0016:3030 days holiday per year plus 13 additional Fridays off per year (1 per month plus 1 more)Life assurance (4x average salary)Company sick pay schemeOnsite free parkingAccess to buyable benefits such as dental and medical coverChildcare vouchers
