Job Description Mechanical Projects Supervisor Ready to step into a role with real ownership, variety and visibility? Our client is looking for an accomplished Mechanical Supervisor to lead high-quality installations across an impressive portfolio of commercial properties in London.
Youll take projects from first fix through to commissioning and handoverdriving standards, coordinating teams and ensuring every job is delivered safely, smoothly and on programme. This is a hands-on opportunity for a technically strong supervisor who knows how to lead from the front and takes genuine pride in an exceptional finish.
What Youll Be Doing Leading mechanical installation and small-works projects across live commercial environmentsCoordinating engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other tradesOverseeing HVAC, LTHW and CHW systems, pipework, pumps, valves and associated plantKeeping projects on programme, to specification and within strict safety standardsReviewing drawings, resolving technical issues and maintaining quality throughoutSupporting pressure testing, flushing, commissioning and final handoverManaging snagging and ensuring every detail meets the required standardLiaising confidently with Project Managers, clients and site representativesMaintaining accurate progress reports and project documentationWhat Youll Bring Strong experience in commercial mechanical building servicesPrevious experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Site Supervisor or Lead Mechanical FitterAn NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services, or a recognised apprenticeshipSound knowledge of HVAC, LTHW and CHW systemsThe ability to interpret drawings, specifications and schematicsA valid CSCS, ECS or JIB cardA full UK driving licenceConfident leadership, organisation and communication skillsA professional, solutions-focused approach in occupied buildingsExperience with fan coil units, air conditioning, water hygiene/L8, pressure testing, flushing, IPAF or PASMA would be a welcome advantage.
