Mechanical Technician/Fitter

Key Responsibilities Study assembly drawings, parts lists, and manuals to prepare work activities Gather parts, tools, subassemblies, and materials Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components to machine frameworks Prepare and assemble subassemblies for final machine build Carry out quality control and inspection checks to ensure high standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Follow and embrace all Health & Safety procedures Skills & Experience Previous experience in machine building or mechanical assembly Knowledge of machine construction and engineering principles Ability to read and work from technical drawings Comfortable using hand and power tools Basic electrical wiring and pneumatic experience desirable Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm 30-minute unpaid lunch Overtime available Pay & Benefits From £35,000 per year negotiable Overtime paid Yearly bonus Company pension Free onsite parking Additional Information 8-month probationary period Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate Work location: In person Apply today to join a growing engineering company where quality, craftsmanship, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.
