Mechanical Technician

We are looking for Mechanical Technicians to be based in Barrow to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of gas production, processing and condensate storage facilities. This is a contract role inside IR35 at £375 a day PAYE Shift Pattern: 1 week on / 1 week off, 11-hour shifts to 30/9/26 From 1/10/26, this will transition to a 9-day fortnight working pattern, 9-hour shifts with rates to be re-negotiated.
You will be a safety-focused, proactive and technically capable Mechanical Technician with a proven track record of maintaining critical process plant equipment. You will be confident working in a highly regulated environment, able to solve complex technical problems and committed to delivering reliable, efficient and safe operations. ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will undertake routine engineering maintenance and defect repair activities, ensuring the reliability and scheduled availability of operational plant and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
