With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth within the mission-critical sector, we are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Quality Assurance Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and play a key role in driving quality assurance standards across a flagship project while working closely with operational teams, clients and senior leadership.
The RoleAs MEP Quality Assurance Manager, you will take ownership of the quality function on a major Data Centre development. You will oversee project activities throughout the construction phase, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and public health installations are delivered to the highest quality standards, fully compliant with specifications, drawings and industry regulations.
You will work closely with site teams, engineers and subcontractors to implement robust QA processes, promote right-first-time delivery, and ensure consistent quality across all MEP installations. Key ResponsibilitiesLead all MEP quality assurance activities across a major Data Centre projectDevelop, implement and maintain project-specific quality management systems and proceduresConduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical and electrical installationsReview and sign off ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), check sheets and QA documentationEnsure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards and client requirementsManage snagging, defects identification and close-out processesLiaise with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality issuesDrive a right-first-time culture across all site activitiesProduce quality reports and provide regular updates to senior managementSupport commissioning activities and handover documentation preparationPromote continuous improvement in quality processes across the project and wider businessAbout YouProven experience in a QA/QC or Quality Assurance Manager role within the construction or MEP sectorStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systemsPrevious experience working on Data Centre projects is highly desirableStrong understanding of construction quality management systems and proceduresExperience reviewing technical drawings, specifications and installation standardsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence site teams and drive high-quality installation standardsProactive, detail-oriented and committed to delivering right-first-time outcomesAmbitious with a desire to progress within a growing businessWhy Join Us?
