You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.

We are currently looking for a MEP Testing & Commissioning Engineer who will: As the MEP Testing & Commissioning Engineer,

you will

Co-ordination of the testing and commissioning requirements through the procurement, design, construction methodology and programme for the MEP scope of worksManaging the development of Test Documentation by the Suppliers and execute MEP testing and commissioning activities in line with the HS2 Commissioning StrategySupport point to point testing, energisation, system proving, witnessing and staged commissioning activitiesEnsure the progress of the Testing commissioning of the works are in accordance with the contract, programme, budget and client requirementsImplementation and assure compliance with all relevant HS2 and / or statutory requirements with regards to Health, Safety, Environment and Public relations within their scope of workSupport Package Managers with delivery associated with commissioning and delivery processEnsure that contemporaneous records of work done are maintained by the Subcontractor and issued for review (or acceptance)We are looking for: Experience in involvement of a major infrastructure project, ideally from Design through to handoverExperience in a similar level role, responsible for the delivery of Testing and commissioning and Systems integration activitiesStrong leadership, communication, and conflict management skillsHNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineRelevant Commissioning experience in engineering or other similar regulated industryStrong understanding of electrical safety, testing standards, and commissioning processesExperience producing and managing commissioning documentation and handover packsWhat we offer:24/7 digital GP service for you and your family Financial wellbeing and employee assistance Professional development Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave) Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
