Stockport | Permanent | £19.97 per hour + Excellent Benefits Excellent opportunity for an experienced MIG Welder with Aluminium experience to join a leading defence manufacturer in Stockport, working on the assembly of complex military engineering systems.

This is a hands-on welding position within a modern manufacturing environment, offering great career prospects and working conditions, where you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded assemblies in line with engineering drawings, welding specifications and required quality standards.

you will

MIG weld aluminium components and assemblies to required standards Work from engineering drawings, work instructions and welding specifications Prepare, weld, dress and finish components Inspect completed welds for quality and dimensional accuracy Identify and correct welding defects Use hand and powered tools safely Complete relevant production and quality documentation Work safely and efficiently to production schedules Candidate

Requirements
