Military Area Manager

Overview

As an Area Manager in Amazon’s Fulfillment Center, you lead a core operations team to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will guide 80–120 associates, drive training, and ensure safety, quality, and inventory accuracy. You’ll coordinate cross-functional problem-solving and promote best practices to optimize workflows. This role places you at the heart of customer-centric operations, shaping scalable processes and delivering impact across the fulfillment network.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a line of 80–120 associates within receive, stow, pick, pack or ship teams
• Drive training, onboarding, and ongoing performance improvement
• Safeguard team safety and promote health and safety standards
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve operational problems
• Uphold high standards of process quality and efficiency
• Maintain inventory accuracy and streamline processes
• Develop subject matter expertise on FC processes and activities
• Share best practices with colleagues and network

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Business, Logistics, or related field
• Experience in managing and developing teams
• Experience in project and program management
• Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels
