Cotswold Financial Solutions Ltd, a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, is looking for a qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its established and growing team. With the option to join on an employed or self-employed basis, this is a flexible opportunity that can be shaped around the right individual.

For someone looking to develop further, there is also a supported pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser within the St. James's Place Partnership. About The roleYou'll provide professional, compliant and client-focused mortgage and protection advice, building trusted, long-term relationships and managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion and beyond.

Key responsibilities will include

Providing mortgage and protection advice tailored to individual client needsCompleting fact-finds, affordability assessments and appropriate product researchManaging mortgage and protection applications through to completionMaintaining accurate client records and compliant file notesLiaising with lenders, providers, solicitors, estate agents and other professionalsKeeping up to date with lender criteria, product developments and regulatory requirementsBuilding strong client relationships and developing repeat and referral businessManaging your own diary, workload and pipelineAbout youAs the Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you'll need: CeMAP 1, 2 and 3, Cert CII (MP), or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualificationExperience providing regulated mortgage adviceExperience providing protection advice alongside mortgage recommendationsA sound understanding of mortgage products, lender criteria and regulatory environmentStrong communication, relationship-building and organisational skillsThe confidence to work independently while contributing to the wider teamFull right to work in the UKSuitable professional references that can be contacted and verifiedExperience managing an existing client bank, developing professional referral relationships or generating new business would be advantageousWhat's on offer?
