The role
Reporting to the Materials Purchasing Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that the production schedule is achieved through effective ordering and delivery of materials to sites. The MRP Coordinators' role is to schedule the delivery of raw materials to support the production plan, whilst working within agreed target stock levels across all UK sites. Key responsibilities of
the role
Analyse and execute MRP requirements to meet production plans. Identify and resolve material shortages, expediting orders as needed. Investigate shortages, implement corrective actions, and escalate if required. Monitor overdue deliveries and follow up with suppliers.
Manage stock levels, forward orders, and site-to-site transfers to prevent overstocking and obsolescence. Provide forecasts to suppliers and stock data for project managers. Monitor expiring b...
