MS Fabric Data Architect

Overview

As a Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect in our Data Practice, you will design and implement Fabric-based architectures on cloud data platforms to support scalable, secure, and business-aligned data solutions. You’ll guide enterprise clients through data platform modernization, enabling democratised data, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights.

You’ll collaborate with client partners and technology teams to define Fabric strategies and best practices, staying at the forefront of data innovation. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic advisory, in a fast-evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to shape data solutions and deliver end-to-end Fabric architectures
• Design and implement Fabric-based solutions on cloud data platforms
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise data environments
• Share knowledge and lead thought leadership within the team
• Collaborate with client partners and senior stakeholders to align technology with business objectives

Key requirements

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients
• Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools
• Deep understanding of the data lifecycle (ingestion, storage, processing, governance, consumption)
• Ability to map business objectives to technology strategy and execution
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience leading data modernization initiatives across multiple sectors
• Strong stakeholder engagement
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Clear communication and collaboration
• Microsoft Fabric core features
• Azure cloud proficiency (Terraform -> IaC)
• Experience with databases, data warehouses, and distributed processing
