Multi-drop Van Driver

Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Driver. Working out of Lutterworth. This is a temporary role, which may lead to an ongoing role for the right candidate We are looking for an experienced Multi Drop Van driver with good knowledge of the Midlands areas. .

Start time from 06:00. You will have an induction prior and have a day out with a driver to see how they work.to your shift. You will have your own set route of deliveries up to 50 to business users; this can be industrial estates and city centres and you will have excellent communication skills oral and written and have pride in your work.

You will load your van in the morning ready for deliveries; all deliveries will be in postcode order. You will have experience-using PDA to confirm deliveries. You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver delivering to businesses and you will have no more than 6 points on your licence and not served a ban in the last 5 years, as you will be dealing with customers we are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills.

Rate of Pay. Monday to Friday first 8 hours £12.71 per hour, after 8 hours £16.90. Excluding holiday pay. Requirements UK Driving Licence with over 1 years commercial driving. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Previous multi-driving experience. Follow all traffic laws and regulations. Excellent communication oral and written. Excellent customer service essential. Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

1 years Commercial Van Driving experience. No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years. Benefits Secure onsite parking. Weekly pay. Pension. 28 days holiday including bank Holiday. Monthly bonus when full time.
