Job Description Multi-Skilled Kitchen FitterReading, RG2 0QX £25.00 per hour (Umbrella) Monday to Friday | 08:00am to 16:00pm Company Van ProvidedAre you an experienced Kitchen Fitter with strong carpentry skills looking for a long-term opportunity within the social housing sector?
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Kitchen Fitter to join a busy Property Services team delivering high-quality kitchen installations and refurbishment works across residential housing stock in Reading and surrounding areas.
Working within occupied properties, you will carry out full kitchen installations, repairs and refurbishment projects while ensuring excellent customer service and minimal disruption to tenants.
Key responsibilities include
Kitchen fitting and installationCarpentry repairs and maintenanceBasic plumbing and pipework alterationsPatch plastering and making goodVinyl flooring installationWall and floor tilingEnsuring all work is completed safely and to a high standardMaintaining excellent tenant liaison and customer careWe're looking for candidates who have: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in kitchen fitting and carpentryExperience working within domestic maintenance, property services or social housing environmentsMulti-trade skills including plumbing, plastering, flooring and tilingThe ability to work independently and manage workloads effectivelyA strong commitment to health and safety standardsA full UK driving licenceIn return, you'll benefit from:£25.00 per hour UmbrellaFull-time, Monday to Friday scheduleCompany van provided during working hoursConsistent work with an established Property Services teamOpportunity to work on a varied housing maintenance and refurbishment programmeIf you are a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Kitchen Fitter looking for your next contract opportunity in Reading, apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.
