Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Skipton Salary: £53,000 per annum Working Hours: 48 hours per week across 4 days The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business within the food production industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a busy production environment, playing a key role in maintaining machinery reliability, reducing downtime and ensuring production targets are achieved.

The successful candidate will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, using their mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and improve equipment performance. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.

Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding and repairs. Diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults. Minimise machinery downtime and support the smooth running of production. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out. About You Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and preventative maintenance.
