Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Milton Keynes Up to £55,000 4 on, 4 off We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established food manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes.

Working within a fast-paced food production environment, you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with experience in food manufacturing, looking to join a busy production facility offering a competitive salary and a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of food production machinery. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.

Maintain and repair machinery including conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging equipment and automated production lines. Respond to machinery breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall site performance.

Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety and food hygiene standards. Work closely with production teams to ensure machinery is operating effectively and production targets are achieved.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to the required standards. Skills & Experience Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within food manufacturing. Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.

Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities across automated production machinery. Experience maintaining food processing, production and packaging equipment. Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems. Understanding of food hygiene, HACCP and safe working practices within a food production environment.

Relevant engineering qualification, ideally Level 3 or above.
