Job Description Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an engineering business in Derby to recruit Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Location: Derby Hours: Monday to Friday, Days Only (Flexible Hours Available) We are seeking a proactive Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering site where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and work within a specialist maintenance team, supporting production operations and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities of the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Safe installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment efficiently Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed Assisting with safety testing and compliance activities Providing technical support and training to production teams Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Experience working with motors, drives, testing, and investigative maintenance work Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams PLC experience would be advantageous but is not essential Hydraulic systems experience is highly desirable Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance What's On Offer?
