Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the role Our Client runs a highly automated [food / FMCG / packaging] manufacturing site and is investing in new equipment. We need a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our lines running safely and reliably.

What you will do Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment Find and fix electrical and mechanical faults quickly to reduce downtime Fault-find on control systems, motors, drives, pneumatics and hydraulics Complete preventive maintenance and record work in the CMMS Suggest and deliver improvements to machine reliability Work safely, following lock-out and permit-to-work procedures What you need Level 3 NVQ, HNC or apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Proven multi-skilled experience, with strength in both electrical and mechanical work Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good fault-finding skills on automated equipment Willing to work the site's shift pattern and overtime Nice to have 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification Experience fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment FMCG, food or pharmaceutical background...
