Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and breakdown repairs across a range of production machinery and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to join a stable business offering a £40,000 salary and a Monday-to-Friday day shift, providing an excellent work-life balance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Maintenance engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.

Essential Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment.
• A recognised engineering qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK manufacturing sector.
• Previous experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement.
