Role: Multi-Skilled Security Engineer Job Purpose: To install, maintain, service and repair a range of electronic security systems, ensuring all equipment operates reliably and meets customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems. Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of security systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
Complete commissioning, system testing and handover documentation. Provide excellent customer service and professional technical support. Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards. Essential
Requirements
Proven experience in electronic security system installation and maintenance. Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Strong communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
Experience with IP CCTV, networked systems and integrated security solutions. Relevant industry qualifications, such as ECS/CSCS or manufacturer training. Knowledge of NSI/SSAIB requirements and relevant British Standards
