Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am–11:30am Overtime: Available at 1.525× your hourly rate Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays Work location: In person We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering company in Standish for an experienced CNC Multi-Spindle Lathe Programmer / Setter / Operator.

The client is offering £18.50 per hour for someone who can program, set and operate multi-spindle lathes. If you have strong CNC metalworking lathe programming experience but haven't worked on multi-spindle machines, we'd still like to hear from you.

The company may consider you at a lower rate, depending on your experience. The role Program, set and operate CNC multi-spindle lathes. Manufacture precision metal components to drawing and specification. Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Monitor production and check finished parts for quality. Maintain a safe, tidy and productive working area. About you You must have previous experience programming CNC metalworking lathes. Multi-spindle lathe programming, setting and operating experience is required for the £18.50 hourly rate.

If your CNC metal lathe programming experience is on other types of lathes, you're still welcome to apply; the rate will depend on your experience. You should be confident reading engineering drawings and working to required tolerances.

Pay and hours The standard working week is 38 hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm Friday: 7:30am–11:30am Overtime is available: one additional hour Monday to Thursday and up to 2.5 additional hours on Friday, paid at 1.525× your hourly rate.
