Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to work across the Leciester area for a well-established social housing contractor. This is a long-term opportunity working on maintenance works within void social housing properties.
Were looking for experienced Multi-Trade Operatives with a strong background in social housing repairs and voids, property maintenance, refurbishment or reactive maintenance .As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be: Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing propertiesCompleting carpentry and plumbing repairs, kitchen and bathroom repairs and general multi-trade worksUndertaking additional trades including plastering, tiling, carpentry and decorating where skilledDiagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standardWorking professionally within tenants homesManaging your own workload and completing jobs efficientlyCompleting electronic paperwork and following health and safety proceduresWere Looking For: Proven experience in social housing repairs or property maintenanceStrong carpentry and multi-trade skillsExperience in plastering, tiling, plumbing or decorating is highly desirableAbility to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanshipProfessional, reliable and customer-focused approachFull UK driving licenceDBS may be required in the futureNo formal trade qualifications required practical experience is keyIn return, the Multi Trade Operative will receive:£22 - £23 per hourWeekly pay (CIS payments available)Fuel allowance5 days per weekLong-term ongoing workMonday to FridayImmediate start availableRegular workload with an established contractorLocation & TravelThe role covers Leciester and the surrounding areas.
