Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Coalville, Leicestershire Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 Shift Pattern: Panama Shift Pattern Sector: Distribution / Automation We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established distribution operation based in Coalville.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer to join a busy, fast-paced environment, maintaining and improving a range of automated equipment and machinery across the site. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping operations running efficiently, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

The Role

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment. Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently. Fault-find across electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain and repair automated machinery and equipment.

Identify opportunities to improve machinery reliability and performance. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

The Ideal Candidate: Minimum Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical). Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.

Automation experience would be highly advantageous. Experience working with automated conveyors, sortation systems, robotics or warehouse automation would be beneficial. Good understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance.

Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team. What's on Offer: Salary of £50,000 - £53,000. Panama shift pattern. Permanent position. Opportunity to work within a busy distribution and automated environment.
