Music Systems & Reporting Analyst

Overview

As a Systems & Reporting Analyst, you will lead day-to-day Systems & Technical Reporting for MMS, acting as the bridge between technical colleagues and the team. You will ensure reporting accuracy, manage data workflows, and validate outputs against contractual and industry standards.

You’ll collaborate internationally to develop global solutions and support new music system initiatives. This role combines hands-on data work with system thinking to improve reporting reliability and business processes.

You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment that values curiosity and practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical reporting queries from CMOs and clients and coordinate resolution with technical teams
• Maintain and improve departmental reporting workflows and data accuracy to meet requirements
• Track and close reporting changes and actions, keeping stakeholders informed
• Prepare and transform data for reporting/analytics and validate outputs
• Act as international business contact for the cue-sheet system and develop global solutions with US counterparts
• Gather and document system/reporting requirements and progress improvements with technical teams
• Maintain technical reporting documentation and support user-facing training materials with Analytics
• Support development and rollout of music systems and conduct user acceptance testing
• Communicate system and reporting changes to the department and stakeholders

Key requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in preparing, validating and reconciling large datasets
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering reporting or system changes
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ability to explain reporting logic, data flows, metadata and system interactions
• Clear communication and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with deadline management
• Proactive mindset and curiosity about how systems work and data quality improvement
• Proficient in SQL and Excel for data querying and validation
• Experience in a systems, reporting, data or similar technical analyst role
