An exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure and Network Engineer has arisen with an innovative computing hardware company, based in Cambridge.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure and Network Engineer to join a collaborative IT and Security team, taking ownership of the network, Linux servers, storage and backup infrastructure that supports a growing engineering environment. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant scope to shape infrastructure design, improve security and automate processes using Python, Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools.

This is a 5-day onsite role, with some flexibility.

• Experience for the Infrastructure and Network Engineer includes:
• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure or network engineering, with strong Linux system administration skills
• Knowledge of networking technologies, including switching, VLANs, routing, segmentation, firewalls, VPNs and Wi-Fi
• Experience with Linux-based systems, ideally Debian and Red Hat, alongside ZFS and NFS
• Experience with Python, Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
