responsibilities
Own and manage the yacht news inbox, leading daily newsgathering across PR platforms, social media, competitor sites, shipyards and studios Set the daily yacht news agenda, making confident editorial judgements on what to cover, deprioritise or avoid (including sensitivity to commercial relationships) Write, edit and publish breaking yacht news across launches, construction updates, deliveries, incidents, rescues and industry developments Compile and edit the daily company Briefing newsletter, setting order and emphasis based on news value and audience relevance Own the News section of the website, ensuring consistency, authority and accuracy Represent the company as News Editor at press events, shows and industry briefings Write monthly print news pages and curate the top digital news stories of each month Growth
