Night Drivers Mate

We are seeking a reliable,

physically fit Drivers' Mate to support our commercial delivery operations.

Working closely with our drivers,

you will assist with the safe, timely, and hygienic delivery of meat carcasses and associated products to our business clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills,

and a commitment to maintaining strict food safety and manual handling standards. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Manual Handling:

Assist the driver with the safe lifting, carrying, and unloading of heavy meat carcasses and products into customer premises.

Vehicle Loading:

Ensure the delivery vehicle is loaded safely, securely, and efficiently prior to departure.

Route Support:

Assist with route navigation and adherence to delivery schedules.

Administration:

Ensure accurate order fulfilment and complete all required delivery documentation.

Customer Service:

Act as a professional ambassador for the company, maintaining polite and respectful interactions with customers at all times.

Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all company Health & Safety, manual handling, and food hygiene regulations.

Communication:

Liaise clearly and proactively with the driver and transport team regarding any delivery updates or on-road issues.

Candidate Requirements High level of physical fitness and capable of sustained heavy lifting.

Comfortable handling raw meat carcasses and products in a temperature-controlled environment.

Dependable, punctual, and well-presented.

Strong teamwork and verbal communication skills.

Committed to following strict food safety and hygiene protocols.

Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery, warehouse, or manual handling role is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
