Responsibilities

• Contribute to non-contentious construction matters for a diverse client base
• Draft, review and negotiate construction contracts and related documents
• Assist on cross-border matters and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Support senior lawyers with client liaison and matter management
• Develop technical and practical understanding of construction law through mentoring and training

Key requirements

• Newly qualified solicitor
• Construction experience during traineeship (contentious or non-contentious)
• Interest in non-contentious construction law
• Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh (or willing to relocate)
• Collaborative mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive problem solving
• Knowledge of construction contracts and related documentation
• Understanding of non-contentious construction processes
