Nursery Assistant - Level 3 Qualified Location: Putney, SW15 Start Date: November 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term / Permanent Opportunity Working Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday Term Time Only Nursery Assistant - Mainstream Primary School - Putney Reeson Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Putney, SW15, from November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking for a full-time, term-time-only position within a supportive school environment. The role is initially available on a long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Early Years team, supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing and engaging nursery setting. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher and Early Years team with daily nursery activities and routines.

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework. Encourage children's communication, social interaction and independence. Provide individual and small-group support, including for children with additional learning needs.

Assist with observations, assessments and monitoring children's development. Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Support children's personal care needs where required. Essential Requirements A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential.

Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or Early Years setting. Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). A caring, patient and nurturing approach to supporting young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
