Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) Location: Private Nursery Recruiter: Reed Job Type: Full-time (4 0hours per week) Salary: £13.50 – £13.50 per hour Reed is proud to be working in partnership with a prestigious local nursery to recruit a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework , who is committed to delivering high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Provide a high standard of care, ensuring children's safety, wellbeing, and individual needs are met Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive nursery environment Build strong professional relationships with children, parents, and the wider team Requirements A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) At least 1 year's experience in a UK childcare setting A sound knowledge of the EYFS framework A warm, enthusiastic, and committed approach to childcare Benefits 30 days' annual leave for a full-time position (including bank holidays, one week at Christmas and one week in August), pro rata for part-time positions One-hour daily lunch break Company pension scheme Uniform provided Ongoing professional development opportunities Up to 50% staff discount on childcare fees if your child attends the nursery If you are passionate about supporting young children's development and want to work in a highly regarded nursery setting, we would love to hear from you.
