The setting offers the opportunity to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore and develop their confidence. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity starting in January 2027, offering a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will plan engaging EYFS activities, support children's individual development, maintain high safeguarding standards and work closely with colleagues and parents to provide excellent early years care.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have: A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education Experience working within a nursery or early years setting A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children aged 0-5 In return for the above you can expect to receive: A permanent position within a day nursery in Gateshead A competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum A great benefits package The opportunity to support children's learning and development throughout their early years Ready to take the next step in your Early Years career?
