Ocean Freight Operator - Redditch£30,000 - £36,000 | Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 | Clear progression to multimodalWe're working with a well-established and growing UK freight forwarder in Redditch, looking to add an experienced Ocean Freight Operator to their team.
This is a true end-to-end role, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership of shipments and wants to broaden their skillset into air and road freight (full training provided).The OpportunityManage start-to-finish sea freight imports & exportsHandle customs clearance and all related documentationLiaise with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and suppliersArrange final delivery and UK transportTroubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficientlyComplete job costing and invoicing accuratelyGain exposure to air & road freight as part of a multimodal functionBuild relationships through proactive, consultative customer contactWhat They're Looking ForMinimum 2+ years' sea freight experience (import/export)Strong understanding of freight forwarding processesExperience with customs clearanceConfident managing shipments end-to-endHighly organised with strong attention to detailCustomer-focused with good communication skillsAir or road freight knowledge is a bonus (not essential)Why Apply?
